Become a better leader by mentoring a skilled immigrant

June 14, 2022

There are two things great leaders have in common: they benefit from working with mentors and also volunteer their time to mentor others. Mentors influence the personal and professional growth of their mentees while improving their leadership skills. It doesn’t matter the career stage; no one is too successful to need a mentor.

By helping mentees solve problems, communicating different topics and using emotional skills to encourage them, mentors practice leadership skills that contribute to their development as leaders. You will help our clients understand the Canadian workplace culture, develop a strategy and plan for future career goals, create networking strategies and identify strengths and skill gaps and/or areas of improvement.

“Right from the beginning, Ayodeji showed a lot of interest in me –it was very clear he wanted me to succeed in relaunching my career in Canada. Ayodeji shared the mistakes he had made and told me what to do to avoid them because he didn’t want me to fall into the same traps,” indicates Adam, a Windmill mentee.
