Meet Daniel Beaudin-Hall, Windmill’s Outreach staff member in Ontario

June 16, 2022

Daniel joined Windmill in July of 2018 and is based in Toronto, Ontario.

Daniel Beaudin-Hall, Community Relations Specialist, joined Windmill Microlending’s Ontario office in July 2018. Since then, he has continued to develop existing local partnerships, while forming new relationships with immigrant-serving organizations across much of Central and Eastern Canada.

Daniel holds a degree in accounting from Dalhousie University. While in Nova Scotia, he was heavily involved with both the student and local community through chairing the Dalhousie Commerce Society Mentorship Program and offering English language training for new immigrants at the Halifax Public Library.

Daniel has occupied various roles across a variety of industries, including banking, real estate and technology. However, he has always wanted to put his skills to use by making Canada a more prosperous and welcoming country. In Windmill, he found the right place to put to the service his passion for financial literacy, accessible credit and social equity.

“The best part of my role is seeing firsthand the look of excitement on future clients’ faces when they learn Windmill exists solely to help them achieve their full potential in their new home. It’s both humbling and inspiring to hear the stories of sacrifice and pure determination these new Canadians have shown thus far on their journey. As the grandson of immigrants, I am proud to continue the tradition of welcoming newcomers to our home and Canadian family.”
