Windmill and CPA Ontario join forces for internationally-trained accountants

October 5, 2021

Windmill and CPA Ontario have partnered to jointly promote the availability of low-cost financing for internationally-trained professionals seeking a CPA certification in Ontario. This coordinated campaign is part of an effort to encourage more skilled immigrants and refugees to pursue the designation as a stepping stone to career success in Canada.

“Chartered Professional Accountants are Canada’s trusted business leaders,” says Windmill CEO, Claudia Hepburn. “Windmill’s clients in the accounting field increase their income by 250%, on average, so we are interested in supporting many more internationally-trained accountants.”

“A CPA designation opens up many exciting career opportunities in Ontario for internationally-trained professionals,” says Carmen Jacques, CPA, CGA and Manager, Student Recruitment at CPA Ontario. “Windmill helps open doors to newcomers wishing to pursue the designation by breaking down some of the financial barriers they may face.”
